Multi-media Artist and Performing Artist
Natalie Dohman is an International Multi-Media Artist and Performing Artist coming from the United States.
Natalie is originally from Pennsylvania and has received International acclaim for her painting and dancing.
Natalie is a multi-disciplinary artist that uses mediums from Oil and Acrylic paint to fiber art and sculpture.
Graduating with a degree in Health and Human Services and additional degrees in Creative Writing and Interactive Design, Natalie has utilized her varied education in mental health and design to translate the connection between mind, body and soul onto the canvas or whatever artistic material she sees fit.
She also uses her artistic outlets to inspire and encourage whatever community she is in to promote a sense of healing and well-being. Using principles of art alongside various therapeutic techniques that range from painting to dancing modalities, Natalie also teaches group art classes in a plethora of disciplines.
Using bright colors and even sound, Natalie explores the connection of human emotion with expression and has made a point of connecting the spiritual psyche through everything she touches.
Having multiple disciplines, Natalie feels uninhibited in her avenue of expression and is able to convey a myriad of thoughts and ideas.
Racism
Natalie explores the effects on racism worldwide in most of her works and how it has affected her life and the life of other women in American society. Using paint and modalities such as dance and digital mapping, Natalie has curated various series that explore the viewers emotional relationship to the effects of racial identity and how it can elevate or dismantle a person’s life.
Spirituality
Another large theme in Natalie’s work is the observation of spirituality. Natalie has been a long-time member of the Rosicrucian Order and finds the theories and subjects studied throughout the order make their way into her artwork.
Natalie was raised in a conventional and conservative Christian home and later found out that she is Jewish by way of her mother.
The themes of Judaism, Christianity and other mystical teachings such as the mind/body connection make their way in most every piece of Natalie’s.
nDesign Art Haus,LLC
Natalie incorporated a multi-residential art gallery, nDesign Art Haus, in 2020 that was first located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and opened its doors in 2022.
nDesign Art Haus is now an online art gallery that hosts various classes, events and promotes artists from all over the world.
nDesign will have a projected opening date of 2025 in Paris France.
Dance
Natalie has been dancing since she could walk and has trained with various schools such as Gail Ercoli in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania to teaching dance at Carlisle Dance.
She has also curated various performances that merge dance and projection mapping.
