Evolution of Spirit
“Evolution of Spirit” is a series of works created throughout Natalie’s life. Growing up in a conservative Christian house played a role on how Natalie interpreted religion and religious figures in her life. Natalie discovered her Jewish roots at the age of 39, and her previous paintings pointed to her understanding and acceptance of prominent religious figures and how they impacted her life, spiritually, from when she was a child and how she envisioned them and experienced them.
Later works look at spirituality from a mystical standpoint as Natalie later in life, became a member of a mystical organization and relates this way of thinking in her artwork.
ABSTRACTION
“A Planetary Series” is a work of art that looks at how one with sensitive senses views and interprets our solar system. Based solely off of the Milky Way system, Playlist uses color and abstract form to interpret what most only experience visually.

“Playlist” is made by incorporating sounds into a visual landscape that transports the viewer into another plane of existence.
